_The trend of HID lights has grown exponentially over the past few years, and has brought major breakthroughs in motor vehicles. The HID or Xenon lights make use of an electrical arc to produce immense luminescence. It uses the equal amount of power like traditional halogen headlight bulbs. Due to this, several drivers of motor vehicles opt for installing an HID conversion kit in their vehicles. The easy-to-install kits provide superior visibility at night and when there is tougher weather such as rain, storm and fog. Within just 30 minutes process, you can install a basic HID conversion kit without any tool.

Instructions

  1.  First, remove the hood of your car, and let the engine cool completely
  2.  Press the release tab on the headlight connector and pull it off the back of the headlight bulb.
  3.  Turn the bulb counterclockwise at one quarter and pull it straight out of the back of the headlight housing. Do this process again on the other headlight.
  4.  Put the fitted HID bulb into the back of the headlight housing and turn it clockwise at 1 quarter to lock it in place.
  5.  Fit in the other HID headlight bulb likewise. Don’t touch the bulb with your fingers; oils from your skin could destroy the bulb and bring down its service life.
  6.  Through the built-in double-sided tape, mount the ballasts inside the engine compartment.
  7.  Opt for a mounting location close to each headlight housing. Put strips of double-sided tape on the backs of the ballasts and stick them to the fender wells or other smooth surface. Do ensure that the ballasts should be very near to the headlight housing for the wiring harnesses to reach.
  8.  Hook up the wiring harnesses from the backs of the bulbs to the wiring harnesses from ballasts. There is no way to connect the wires incorrectly as they’ve alternating male and female connectors.
  9. Attach one end of the fitted plug-and-play wires to the ballasts. Connect the other ends to the connectors that were attached to the factory headlight bulbs. Now, tightly push all connectors together to ensure that they don’t get loose.
Tips & Warnings

Prevent refraction, keep headlight lenses clean.

To remove your headlight bulbs, do consult your owner’s manual for instructions.

After installing the HID kit lights, do ensure, the headlights of your vehicle won’t blind oncoming drivers.

Do refer to your owner’s manual before installing aftermarket headlights in order to ensure they don’t interfere with normal vehicle operation.
